Again, sorry to be late to the party. I'm interested in the project, but as a proud owner of a Seafarer I'm partial to reprising the (Tudor) snowflake hands set on the II. I realize I'm very much in the minority. Alternatively, Rolex-style Mercedes hands. Again, I realize I'm in the minority and...
Sorry to be late to the party. Sounds like an interesting project! I haven't read every post, but I would second those who want a bracelet. I do understand a bracelet would up the price point.
I will follow with interest.
Didn't recognize my invoice at first because I've been receiving a bunch of purported PayPal spam lately. In any event, I paid my second invoice and am looking forward to receiving my white-dialed SeaDragon!
I generally view the entire watch and not just the movement. If a watch appeals to me, movement becomes secondary. Of course I look at price point; if a quartz seems overpriced I won't be interested.
I like the white-on-white, primarily because I like the PloProf hands.
Still would prefer black dial, white-on-black date complication and PloProf hands. I do appreciate that Maria must move or she will lose the cases.
I guess I'm late to the party!
I like the initial rendering. Two suggestions might be an orange-outlined minutes hand and a white-on-black date complication. Otherwise, I see no need for further changes at this time.
Just preordered a white-silver-dialed Sea Dragon! How could I not when I'm made an an offer I can't refuse? :D
Looking forward to following the Sea Dragon's progress and receiving mine!
Option Two (2) for me, definitely.
Thee entire project calls out to me, but in particular the Tuna casework.
I'm quite interested....... Will you blast e-mails when preorders open?
Getting better and better with each rendering.
I like the white dialed version. A bit like a white-dialed Ball Alligator. But, again, I'm prejudiced because I own one!
(not mine - pic "borrowed" from http://itstime.dk/urdebatten/viewtopic.php?t=1524&f=12)
I like the latest rendering much better. The grey dial version looks better. Maybe the rendering in the first version turned me off.
I do like the Tunacan casework. Crown placement at 4 o'clock is entirely appropriate; see, e.g., Eagle Star (Candino). I may be biased because I own an Eagle...
I like the shrouded bezel a la the Tunacan. The Myota 9015 is a good choice for the movement. I like the 4 o'clock crown. As presented in rendering, the grey dial and hands are not my cuppa.
