Borealis Sea Dragon - Just arrived

Mine just arrived. Shipping is fast.
Preliminary observation :

a) watch is well made,
b) grey dial is nice, some thing different,
c) hands are unique,
d) boxset .... not what i expect.
e) the extra set of leather strap.... is rather thin with some area which seems not glued properly .....

I am wearing it for the next couple of days for more feel before proceeding to write a review in my blog.

that's a lame argument; if you decided to sell it for 260usd, it shouldn't compromise quality.

Not lame argument but out of frustration for dedicating so many hours into this project. The leather strap is a quality one. It cost us a lot of money to make it as it is made in Europe and of pure calf leather. It is a strap with a very vintage look.

May not please all due to its vintage nature that I can understand but to make it clear we didn't cut corners on any of the components.

Price of the Sea Dragon was low not due to quality of components but to almost null margins on project. Not seeking retribution for it but want to emphasize all my time, dedication and effort to bring this project to life.

I think your effort and dedication got rewarded, just looking at all positive feedback and preorders you received. But by saying that this is a $260 watch and comparing it to more expensive ones, you imply that we shouldn't expect quality that we all know is an important factor at Borealis. Such quasi-arguments contradict the product you deliver, and weaken your own position.This is a product you decided to offer at an affordable price without cutting on the watch quality, and that's great and appreciated. Why spoil it with unnecessary comparison?
Keep up the good work, can't wait to get my scorpionfish:]

So glue the strap yourself. It's a complete throw-in/extra for the price. Hide glue should do the trick. Cheers...
