Without going into too much detail, the CH1 was inspired by an experimental wristwatch from the 1960s.

You can read the background on the DSS and CH1, HERE & HERE.

Today I am pleased to present to you a new iteration of Helberg’s über diver, the CH1 which has been further enhanced with a striking new jet black DLC (diamond-like-carbon) coating.

The DLC coating has been carried in Germany by arguably one of the best in the business – it has been applied to the main-case, bezel, 9mm crown, solid steel caseback as well a full 3-link bracelet and its adjustable divers clasp.

Key features of the CH1 DLC include: a massive spherical Sapphire crystal, 6000 meters of water-resistance (tested in Germany) and a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement.

It is incredibly tricky to capture owing to the reflections caused by the huge crystal but the CH1 dial with its golden hands and markers that distort under said crystal –

is absolutely stunning especially when combined with the new DLC bezel etc. This watch is truly spectacular.

The Helberg CH1 DLC is available to ORDER now from the H2O Watches online store.
