This is the all-black Oktopus Moon 3DTP™ Black Ink, a special edition of just 20 pieces to commemorate Linde Werdelin’s 20th anniversary.
The potent all-black, highly non-reflective dial showcases LW’s next generation of Oktopus, an evolution of both the iconic Oktopus case as well as its stellar moonphase complication.
Weighing in at a mere 60 grams, the Oktopus Moon 3DTP™ Black Ink and its two siblings are currently the lightest models that Linde Werdelin has ever produced.
It weighs a whole two grams less than their SpidoLite 3DTP™, making it an ideal companion for all your aquatic and subaquatic exploits – in this respect it can reach depths of 300m.
LW’s proprietary 3DTP™carbon used for the highly technical case is layered in sheets to ensure maximum lightness as well as durability and houses a custom made Swiss movement.
Setting a new standard for the LW Oktopus alongside the Oktopus Moon 3DTP™ launched in June 2022, the bezel has been refined and is more integrated into the case, sitting at a steeper angle towards the outer case.
The Oktopus case is sculpted into its signature geometric structure using a proprietary 3DTP™ carbon composite.
The all black piece includes extra black dials, hands and indices, and can be paired with matching natural rubber straps that are interchangeable.
MSRP is a £16,000 so there is no premium for this exclusive 20-pice all-black edition – good news for someone.
Thoughts? LW continues to wow us with their unique take on a moon-phase diver; a masterpiece both technically and aesthetically. But what do you think?
