This is the watch that fans of the Divers Sixty-Five have been waiting for since Oris first unveiled their game changing in-house movement.
Just two years on since Oris’s acclaimed CALIBER 400 debuted and it has now been partnered with or indeed plonked into the Swiss brand’s beloved Divers Sixty-Five model.
This is the new Divers Sixty-Five 12H Calibre 400 with its five decades spanning design powered by Oris’ high-performance automatic movement.
This means that this stylish icon from 1965 now boasts anti-magnetism as well as a five-day power-reserve and a 10-year warranty.
This is also the first Divers Sixty-Five to feature a 12-hour bi-directional rotational bezel, designed to serve as a second time-zone.
Finishing touches include a sapphire crystal case-back and the choice of either a leather strap or steel bracelet. Case size is 40mm.
The new Divers Sixty-Five 12H Calibre has a Swiss MSRP of CHF 3’100 (leather) or CHF 3’300 (steel).
Thoughts? I can see the appeal of the Divers Sixty-Five especially now that there’s once with a Cal. 400 inside.
The watches have a lot going for them; heritage, style. However they lack the pedigree that you get from the BB. But what do you think?
