This is the new SEIKO Prospex Divers Ref. SBDC053, powered by a 23-jewel Seiko caliber 6R15 automatic movement with a manual winding mechanism, a power-reserve of 50 hours, an accuracy of -15 to +25 seconds per day and that all important hacking seconds hand.
Its case is in Stainless steel with Seiko's Dia Shield coating. It measures: 42.6mm in diameter with a lug-lug length of 49.8mm and a thickness of 13.8mm.
The SBDC053's case is equipped with a screw-down case-back and crown, a domed Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on its inner surface, a unidirectional rotational divers bezel, as well as magnetic-resistance, the watch has a water-resistance of 200 meters.
The SBDC053's dial is in blue with Seiko Lumi Brite applied hands and markers. Its Japanese MSRP is 80,000 JPY+TAX.
