The TUDOR Heritage Black Bay was awarded the Revival Prize at this year's Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, the highest awards in watchmaking. The ceremony took place last Friday, November 15th, at the Grand Théâtre de Genève and saw a gathering of the watch world's all-stars to honor 2013's most exciting new watches.
The Revival Prize was presented by none other than HODINKEE Founder and Executive Editor Benjamin Clymer to TUDOR President Philippe Peverilli. The Revival Prize celebrates the rebirth of a particular watch or family of watches. In this case, the Heritage Black Bay is the modern incarnation of the TUDOR Submariner, a model originally launched in 1954.
Congratulations to TUDOR on this outstanding and well-deserved award!
