If this proceeds with a turbine bezel, then I'm not sure I'll proceed with my pre-order. The previous bezel was perfect already. The only thing in dispute was the hands, so why then change the bezel as well? Doesn't make sense! I want the previous bezel, please, or have the turbine as an option...
Design does not need to be revisited. The look of the watch is perfect as is. Dial is perfect, bezel is perfect, bracelet (with 4mm taper) is perfect. These DO NOT need to be altered in any way, shape or form! Just choose a handset and start the pre-order process!! All is well :D
Please leave the dial, bezel and bracelet (with 4mm taper) as is. Those aspects look perfect as already illustrated. I'd be happy with most of the hands listed in the poll, but everything else is already perfect as is and does not need alteration.
So long as the dial, bezel and bracelet 4mm taper remains as it currently stands, then I'm in for pre-ordering. The hands aren't as important to me as those other aspects, but my favourite two sets of hands are the original handset for the Seafarer Mk II and the handset originally earmarked for...
Well done, Maria. I really like the changes you've made to the Seafarer Mk II. I love the 24mm-20mm taper (does the Scorpionfish look any less of a tool watch with a 4mm taper? Of course not), I love the 4000m markings returned, and I love the overall design.
As for hands...I would prefer...
Nonsense, Pakz. Wanting this watch to be the best it can be has nothing to do with superstition whatsoever. That's a silly thing to say.
Thanks, Itsonlytime. I'm a deep dive watch aficionado, and I want this watch to be the best it can be, and I don't want superstitious nonsense to get in the...
People need to remember the watch upon the Estoril is based. Don't tamper with the design too much, or your lose the point of this homage existing in the first place.
I would prefer the water pressure number be greater than the Deep Sea. Let's blow Rolex outta the water!
I don't think how a bracelet fits has anything to do with the severity of its taper. My Rolex Submariner tapers a full 5mm from lug to clasp, and I've achieved a perfect, tight fit. There...
I like the hands that exist on the current Seadog render now, but there are probably a few other hands that I would like also. I like the design of the dial as it exists now, though, and would not want to see it changed. But I agree with Bill, I love truly tapered bracelets. They lend a style...
Wonderful! But don't tamper with the look of the dial too much. This watch has the look I very much prefer. I like that this is being considered as a corrected Seafarer. That notion appeals to me. And, please try to ensure the bezel markers line up with the dial hour markers. The Sea Hawk nailed...
Whether it was made that way or not, I do not like a crown that is quite that wobbly when fully extended. From extensive past experience, I know it can easily be damaged that way. But thank you for your answers to my questions, Maria. I look forward to learning more about the Seadog as the days...
