Very promising design Maria, my only other suggestion would be to place a date window at 4-5 position, so as to keep 3,6,9 on dial, would be excellent upgrade to dial.
I also hope you could offer a mesh type bracelet as option, as this watch design needs a S/S bracelet for a dress up look.
Sorry Maria, but IMHO other than the extreme depth rating, this Seadog is pretty ordinary. The dial is a basic painted finish, the globe hour markers are used by many, the hands are Seiko type with no contrasting minute hand color (Orange), the case is typical, and the sapphire bezel is now...
Keeping the Depth rating in the 3's is fine with me, I just hope that the delivered pricing does the same, or else I would pass on this pretty ordinary tool diver.
Great new concept watch Maria, I would choose the black/orange bezel with the grey or black dial option.
The concerns I have that would stop me is that the bracelet must have more removeable links and half links than the scorpionfish for a better fit for a 6.75-7" wrist, the bezel must rotate...
Received my White dial/Plongeur hands SF today, and I must honestly say that I have mixed feelings.
The Good - clear, nicely done dial, case has excellent fit and finish, awesome dome sapphire crystal, solid crown feel and operation, smooth Miyota Movement, quality ceramic bezel, and the Lume is...
Just heard on another forum that there were no lug screwdrivers included in Scorpionfish black dial/modern hands package, as Maria had promised in posts (#309,370) of this thread.
Have any of you guys that have received your watches received the screwdrivers?
From recent posts announcing payment of final invoice, it sounds like the Black dial/modern hands version was first.
Please post if another variation is billed for payment, hoping a white dial/Plongeur is next, crazy that I can't wait to pay!
Ordered the same, and think the same as MFtime.
I also am a fan of Borealis, and looking forward to their future offerings. Thanks Maria, and team for a great job!!
The Grey and Orange dials look super, but that White dial version is still my favorite, thanks for Posting Kodiak and Javelin, they look great on your wrists.
Just paid my first PayPal invoice, awaiting the 2nd watch invoice due, I trust it will reflect a combined ($0 additional) shipping charge.
Maria, what QC Testing do you perform before shipping?
Do you test the accuracy of the Miyota auto movements?
Thanks again for all your attention, in...
I definitely prefer mechanical/auto movements as changing batteries and hurting the integrity of the water resistance is a major concern, however, if you are set on producing a Quartz movement product, please consider a quality solar movement, or at least a chrono that offers the chrono second...
I have not had good luck or performance with my 3 ISA chrono movements, and would not buy another.
Please consider the Ronda 8040N, it is a top quality chrono movement with a Day of the week and big date complications. My second suggestion is Ronda's Z60 movement, solid performer but not equal...
Bezel Lume looks awesome Maria, looks like a quality job, having this beauty on the wrist is getting exciting.
Do you still believe that you will be able to QC and ship the Sea Dragons to customers in July?
Thank you for wanting, and deciding to deliver all the pre-orders in the first batch, it is greatly appreciated.
May I also say that having the S/S bezel on the silver/white dial version was an excellent marketing choice as it provides a unique combination, and caused me to also purchase the...
