Here’s a new dive watch project from Hong Kong newcomer, DIFICIANO whose debut diver the Marlin hopes to bring a certain amount of retro charm, robustness and affordability to the market.

The Marlin is amalgamation of sorts drawing inspiration from several popular vintage styles – it is packed sporty details such as the boldly colored lumed rehaut that its dials are framed by.

Choose from a combination of sunburst grey or silver or enamel black dials each with brightly colored orange, blue or white chapter rings.

The dials are read via a large set of hands with an oversized minute hand and color-coded lollipop sweep seconds indicator.

A framed date window can be found at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o’clock position.
The 40mm case of the Marlin is in 316L Stainless steel with a 4 o’clock crown-position considered optimum in terms of the wearer’s wrist movements.

While an oversized fluted winding-crown signed with a Marlin motif enables the setting of time.
The Marlin motif can be found once more on the solid 316L Stainless steel case-back.

Topping the watch is a coin-edged unidirectional 120-click bezel with a black inlay and dive-time scale.
A triple-gasket crown-system along with a domed Sapphire crystal help to provide the Marlin with it 300m of water-resistance.

Powering the Marlin is an accurate Seiko NH35A automatic mechanical movement with a date function.

Finally the Marlin form DIFICIANO is equipped with a full Stainless steel link bracelet with mesh center links and signed push-button clasp.
Lots more information and images can be found on the Marlin’s campaign page HERE or on the official website embedded, below.
